They brought the E92 M3 GT2 to Sebring in 2012, that had a flat plane P65B40, and oh man did it sound amazing in person.

Oh Travis... it’s a P60B40, not a P70
Fun fact: BMW built 6 road going M3 GTR’s that had the same B60 V8 - though none of them made it into consumer’s hands as far as I know.
Also - I am fairly certain there’s a hill climb team that runs one of these i n Europe, as well as some other privateer teams in other events, so I don’t think this is the only running example.

That’s far from the only running example, there are a couple that run on the Nurburgring on a semi-regular basis. They found a new life on the ring after they left the ALMS with teams running them in the 24 as recently as this year.
