True story. I’m from a small town in South Georgia. Mo T ucker, the drummer for the Velvet Underground, lives there and has for years. Her daughter and I went to high school together, but she was a couple of years ahead of me. She also has two sons who are a little younger.
I once asked her daughter how the hell they wound up in that podunk town. She said they basically picked it off a map. I guess the idea was to give her kids a somewhat normal life.
