The brow of my hood is getting chewed apart. Looked through the forums, OEM parts, aftermarket parts, eBay, etc. Forums be like, “Yep they’re rare,” or more commonly, “lol looks stupid it’s not a truck lol.” So meh. Where do I find one?!

Maybe repair the chips well and have some kind of paint protector film applied over the front end?

Set up Craigslist email alerts for “lexus partout” “lexus bug shield”, etc. And check the forum classifieds daily.

That is what I was thinking of too.

I’d do the 3m paint protector film. Bug deflectors are stupid looking.

For most of the toyotas sold where I work, ther is no oem bug deflector. They offer the paint protection film.

This was exactly my first thought as well. Get the car nice and cleaned up, then get the entire front of the car wrapped...

If you wanna keep it OEM or “Wow super JDM rare”, look up DB8 Motorsports. Guy is an awesome source for Altezza parts and just any unique Toyota parts.

just looked at Alibaba, TRDUsa, EGR,amazon, eBay,haigh, weathertech, a crowd in NZ and one in South Africa to no avail
have you contacted a Lexus dealer to see if there is one?
if so get the part number and do a google search and eBay search for it
contact Flavian, maybe JDM Toyota part only?

Doctor, unless it is OEM and JDM-Tyte-Yo, I would think it either looks poor or will be poor quality. The rock chips aren’t damage. They’re little badges of honor. If it’s already damaged, who cares...

It’s just really expensive, which is why I haven’t done it to any of my cars. But I also don’t know if the paint is hard or soft on his car. If it’s super pot marked then it’s probably on the softer side. Unless it’s gravel from when it does snow up there?
