Yeah, luckily the tire made contact down low where it was able to hold onto the tire rather than getting sent through my windshield or jettisoned up into the sky.

Yeah I believe it was a 2008 altima, i got all the info on file. I took a photo of his wheelwell. Notice how one of the bolts is not like the others and most are stripped. Not sure if they were like that before or if that happened when the wheel wanted to be free.

Yeah, i hate how it involved more people but I am lucky in that the other person it hit was an off duty cop. He made the whole process super smooth and had gotten all the info together before I even made my way there.

Because this road (106) intersects 2 major highways/turnpikes on the island. I stick to the left lane until I avoid the huge traffic jam and then get right about a quarter mile down the road. At the rate I was going, if I was in the center lane it would have hit the drivers side or even the center of my car.

I won’t say that all drivers here are terrible, but there are a lot more of the bad ones. I was getting tailgated doing 15 over this morning.

Your accident happened pretty close to where I’m staying.
