Thanks! It’s slowly turning into a good from afar, but far from good car, though, as there are tons of small scratches and dents from being parked at uni, as well as light fading of the boomerangs. I’d love to make it pretty again, but sadly haven’t got the time at the moment :( Maybe I can fix it up once I retire it from daily duties when I get a job.

At least your car is white/cream colored so scratches are barely visible. Mythosschwarz on my A3 is hell for people with OCD. Scratches and swhirl marks everywhere.

True, but it still iritates me, lol. Especially in the bit around the door handles, it looks like the thin paint has been scratched away and it’s showing the grey-ish basecoat (not sure, if that’s actaully the case, or if it’s just dirt embedded in the paint)

There are many weird visual imperfections in the car that are weird. My interior door handles have many small but deep scratches and the metal decor on the steering wheel as well. But the exterior door handles irritate me the most

Haha, no one loves the Cube! Honestly, it’s been a very good daily driver for almost 7 years now. No major issues, and hardly any minor ones. It’s just...well...very boring to drive. If it wasn’t a manual, I probably would have sold it years ago.

I’m still on the lookout for a cheap set of stock C5 Z06 wheels locally as well. I’d like to sandblast them and get them powdercoated with something along the lines of copper vein.

Sort of like this . But a silver finish might be nice too. From there, I’ll just have to figure out which set will be for street driving, and which for track time.

Learned how to drive in ‘93 Chevy Cheyenne W/ T. Your Silverado is just perfect. The C300 is not bad either. Probably the only C Class generation I’d choose over a 3er.

In an E Class, yes. The engine was still in other applications for a few years after, and even now any *550 has a V8, albeit a newer design.

The BMW wouldn’t be much fun with an automatic.  As is, it’s entertaining though.

Yeah, mine is a 4.7 TTV8 - they replaced it with a 4.0 TTV8 in the last year or so (2017 or 18?).

And yes, I6 >> V6.
