Decided to pick up this local pale ale at a local craft beer place today. At 8%, it’s deceptively strong due to the strawberry flavor. I’ve been to the brewery before, but they didn’t have it on tap at the time. It was worth the wait. I also picked up a second beer I’ve been waiting a long time to try, but I’m saving that for next week when my vacation begins.

Will be out at the punk rock show, so it’s doubtful they will have any good whiskey. Will settle for jim beam or bushmills.

Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin. Technically last night. Since we have an early morning tomorrow, the wife and I decided to do Friday on a Thursday.
Not as hot as it sounds. Beer and binge-watching Black-ish on Hulu. Good times!

I have a tropical pale ale from Boulevard Brewing waiting for me in the fridge tonight. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to relax and drink at home. I’m way too excited.

If you drink all 12 it’s gonna be a rough morning/afternoon. Delicious going down, though.

It’ll probably be one of these:
I remember trying the Cline Viognier in the past and really enjoying it, so I’m wondering how this’ll taste since it has been a couple of years since I last had it.

Duvel is so good, and so expensive in the States.

I was just in France and I loved the abundance of cheap wine. What only costs a few euros there probably ends up costing a few times more by the time it gets imported to Ontario and the criminally high alcohol tax is applied.

So what you’re getting at is we have the same taste in cars and the same taste in wine.

When I was in France there were times when it was cheaper to get a glass of wine than a glass of water. Needless to say, I got the wine.

spent the afternoon at Balebreaker - https://www.balebreaker.com/#
I love their “Top Cutter” but they have a dozen different offerings at their tap house in Moxee, WA. Got to talk to “Richard” one of the local hop farmers, and “Frank” who likes to shoot animals. If you are ever near Moxee, WA it’s absolutely worth a stop.
