That is a great show. Regrettably I haven’t watched it in a while.

They keep deleting it off of Youtube due to copyright but some noble souls keep uploading the latest episodes.

After coming off of my hitch on night shift, I used to love napping on the couch with this in the background.

It’s like “Law & Order”: if you’re flipping through the channels and come upon it, it’s usually 2-3 hours before you realize you’ve been watching it for that long but with the added bonus of learning something.

It’s scientifically proven that it’s a good show.
I mean, not exactly, but studies show that it’s therapeutic. It’s very calming for people with special needs in particular.

They should make a How it’s made on How it’s made.

I do love that show. I think it’s one of the reasons my kids are so mechanically inclined.

My girlfriend has this issue where she can’t fall asleep without having the TV on. The best solution is when How It’s Made is on, because the slow, nearly monotonic narration is peaceful enough to fall right asleep.
Unless of course they are showing How It’s Made: Dream Cars . Then I can’t fall asleep, nor do I even try.

I love the show, but it is super easy to fall asleep while watching it.

I love How It’s Made. My wife and I usually watch one or two on YouTube to unwind before going to sleep.

We do the exact same thing. How It’s Made is in rotation, along with James May specials.
On that note, I really want a new season of Reassembler...

If you’re human, you like How It’s Made. Fact.
I wonder of they ever did an episode about themselves?
“Tonight, on How It’s Made: How It’s Made”

I recently was fortunate to take a tour of a factory that builds power transformers. The big transformers in substations; specifically, the huge ones that are used in electrical transmission level voltages, the ones that are hauled on monstrous drop-center railroad flatcars or trucks with many, many, many axles and mega permits. They did NOT allow photography, otherwise I would have filled up my camera. It was every bit as awesome as it sounds like...
