Ford will bring back the Fusion eventually, but as the Fusion Active, a la Volvo S60 Cross Country.

Kinja'd!!!

They’ll also bring over the Fiesta Active. So basically nothing in their lineup will change except that everything now has 4WD and some body cladding. I’m okay with this.

As long as the Fiesta Active gets an ST. The aftermarket can’t supply us with lowering kits. Or keep it a bit tall and have a tiny rally car

I saw one of those jacked up Volvos for the first time in person today - my initial reaction was “AMC Eagle, wait... lift kit Volvo? wait... oh yeah, they make one of those now...” Everybody seems to want to be Subaru now...

Will they even have AWD though? Not all of these high-riding-body-cladded things do. The Toyota C-HR, for instance, has FWD only with no AWD option in the US at least.

It does look like it’s on an aftermarket life kit. And I hate that.

They sold like three of those Volvos. Don’t think Ford’s too inspired by that yet.

They’d first need a new Fusion to bring over though. There is a new Fiesta and Focus for Europe and other markets, but is there going to be a new Fusion?

Well China did get a new Taurus which they were considering to sell globally. So it’s still possible that there will be a new Mondeo/Fusion out of China. They do sell there.
