Drove a lot safer than this person.
Might visit a BMW dealer at the end of this week for some unnecessary car shopping.

Looks like they were going around the corner way too fast.

We took back roads most of the way. I can’t get the route to show on my phone.

Yeah, I didn’t see a dude with a pressure washer anywhere near it, so it can’t be his.

Same group though. Passat by VW as compared to Superb by Skoda.

Close-ish. It’s Piglet’s German cousin.

I’m thinking the underside of that car is ripped to shreds given the size of stones it had to navigate to that position.

I can’t tell from the picture if it went over those rocks or got bogged down the otherwise of the rocks on a more dirt track.
The Passat is a 2017 on a Lancashire licence plate so the driver may not of known the road and been a little too enthusiastic for the road.
Some of the twisty country roads (or what in some parts of Scotland class as main arterial roads even in the south) can catch you out very quickly especially if you go up the east of Scotland route to Perth, etc... You can be happy sitting at 60-70mph on a good well made and level road then suddenly you’ve got to drop to 40mph to negotiate a rather steep turn.

how did you find the standard of driving compared to what you’re use to?

It was about the same, although the wide range of speeds was wild. You’d have people doing 50 in the left lane while someone in a Maserati would come up behind you doing over 100.
