had to play with crunched wires to get the other 3 lights working. Drove it home with the top down, because that was the plan and I meant what I said. Still had the automotive time of my life, using y considerable common sense and applying it to something ill-advised and dangerous. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
No need to watch roadkill if you live it.
Cannonballed this barn car from the Rio Grande to my house, six days on the road.

Got altitude sickness, had to chill for a couple hours in a parking lot. Felt better, Cannonballed 7-800 miles through the night. Springs, Wyoming, Montana, and all but 20 miles of south Dakota.

Years ago my grandfather was supposed to go golfing with his buddy. The buddy drove, because he had just bought a new car and wanted to show it off. My grandfather wasn’t feeling well that afternoon, so he stayed home.
On the way to the golf course, his friend hit a huge buck. The antlers pierced through the front passenger seat.

It looks like from your replies this is fixable, which is great to hear! Flesh can’t be replaced as easily as a set of wheels but it still hurts a lot to see your ride get damaged so close to the finish line. Still, it sounds like you had a blast, and now you have an epic tale to pass on!

It does, stone cold fact. But I still have a very cool car, and that’s what really matters. also no one was hurt and all that feelingsy bullshit you have say, but cars, its all about cars, always was.
