That these things exist. And they are expensive. But I guess if you’re running a large construction company and have to smooth large areas of concrete they would be worth it.
I passed a truck with six of them on a flatbed.

Some things might require more insulation between you and the ice than other things.

oh man.. they built those things and gave them to builders...
and theres no videos on youtube yet of crazy trowel dances or anything
looks like the blue collar code of keeping the madness to the late/night shift and never telling still holds true :p

Trowels are a tricky instrument with a small range of uses. But, on the plus side, the ride on ones would be spendy enough that anyone who owned one would know how to use it, unlike the 5 horse Honda push-trowels that people go to the rental store to get when they realize their concrete job is a ratfuck, and then completely destroy the blades on because it’s like rock when they get back.
Why no, I didn’t ever have to service those after the above tomfoolery. Definitely not a couple of dozen times.
