My magnetic number panels are here, courtesy of RallyGrafix!

How much were they if you don’t mind me asking?

$65 for the pair of them. Kinda pricey for numbers but it is cool to be able to get a design specific to my region. I also know they are really high quality, my dad has a pair of the NER rallycross design that have seen over a decade’s worth of events and still look brand new (one of which even spent a New England winter in a field after being knocked off in a mud bog of an event and still looks pristine).

Damn it I never thought to get magnetic numbers instead of disposable decals.

I split the difference and make my numbers out of Magnetic Vent Covers from home depot (a 3-pack is $6 and is enough to make a full number and letter set). I have to trace out and cut the numbers, but we have a die-cutter in the teacher prep room that I use to cut out all the class letters (it has numbers but they are too small).

I already have the decals, so what about just putting them on that?

That’d work great, they’d become reusable magnets (I know people who do that with contingency stickers).
The magnetic sheets are back by the register vents, usually on hooks (you might have to get one of the guys to find the box they come in since I only know of autocrossers who use them and no one using them to actually cover vents).

I ordered a three pack on Amazon for four bucks. Hopefully it actually sticks, though.

My home depot ones have held up on track at speeds of 121mph. The only time I’ve lost magnets has been in the rain and even then it is rare.

So I was about to order brakes but the DS2500's aren’t available for my car in the rear; I only have one retaining pin in the back.
What pads would you recommend for the rear?

I like the Hawk Street/Race Pads (they are the HP+ replacements), they work well with the Ferodo’s and can be paired with even more aggressive front pads if you need to. Those are what I’m running in the rear of my BRZ.

Son of a bitch, can’t get those either.
I think the only thing I can get are EBC brakes. I guess that’s better than stock pads?
And I’ll start saving for the Stop-Tech big brake kit.

Apparently, the Ferodo pads are on backorder, which is rather irritating. I found them in the UK but it would be an extra hundred dollars, and there’s no guarantee I’d get them in time. And Hawk doesn’t make front or rear pads.
I’m thinking I’ll just get the Porterfield R4's for now. The reviews for the R4's and the R4-S’s are good, although everyone says to get the Ferodo’s, but I don’t know if they’re worth an extra $60 for just shipping to get them from the UK, and like I said, I may not even get them in time.
And one other question: would I look a complete idiot/dork if I showed up to my very first track day with a race suit? I don’t want to do it for looks, I want to do it to be safe.
