My dad found a 1992 Toyota Celica at an estate sale and we are scratching our heads trying to figure out its market value right now. We are thinking of going up to $2,000. It is red, has the 5 speed and 90,000 miles. It is apparently in excellent condition.

Looks like this one. I might buy it for myself and drive it for a year or two.

$2,000 would be a great price imo. You never see them in good shape

That’s a fair price if it’s in decent running condition.

I would say fair market value assuming excellent condition could be as high as $3400 in my area.

We are thinking we would keep it for a few months then resell it for a 1,000 profit or so.

Yeah, it’s a 26 year old car so finding one in this condition is special.
