I want to upgrade my rack before the end of the year. Any one have any recommendations for a 1.25” hitch rack? I’d prefer one with no frame contact.

I think Kuat does 1.25? If so, highly recommended.

I quite like the look of the Sherpa. It’s a good price and decently light too. Thanks!

I have a hidden hitch so putting the pin in can be a pain. This rack looks perfect. Thanks!

You’re welcome! They’re highly rated by folks on the cycling forums, been considering getting one of the super duty versions for the 2" receiver on my truck.

I like that 1-up, looks better than my Thule

The Thule t2 Xt clamps to the wheel but it’s over priced imo. I have the regular T2 and it has a hold down on the top tube. I have not seen any frame paint rubbing from it.

Kuat from personal experience are tough to beat. They do have a 1.25. The NVs have all the bells and whistles and the Sherpas are a little more basic but still really good. The Transfer racks are good..ish but if you can swing it the Sherpa and NV are much more solid.
I like the 1up racks but you can’t by the from your local shops.
