Also newsworthy: I replaced all the ugly rubber brake hoses and made the brake lights functional on the Stude, so it got insurance and has officially left the garage a few times this week! Today was the longest drive to Portland Mustangs Cars and Coffee. There were approximately 1,627 Mustangs (1,620 of which were S197s) and roughly 15 other cars. Please forgive my iPotato 5 camera... I told my wife I’d get a new phone when it dies, but it just refuses.

Thank you! I’ve got a mint condition grille and 2 rust free front fenders waiting to go on, but I’m digging the ratty “survivor” look for now.
Say, I was looking through your posts to see if I could find the story of your Corvair, but I didn’t see how you came to own it. I’m enjoying your road trip chronicles, though, and that’s a neat car!
