Found a very tastefully and subtly modified GS300 on CL. The paint, wheels, lip spoiler, light window tint, and mild body kit all look great. Aesthetically, I’d only make a couple of changes: remove hood badge and give it about this amount of low:

Performance wise, I’d go with bigger brakes and more power (turbos is too normal, I’m think supercharge or engine swap)

I’d say it’s a bargain, a 2002 with 130k miles with these mods and is this clean for $4800. Only concern would be timing belt.

I like these but don’t want to pay for premium fuel since it’s like $0.80 higher where I live which really adds up fast with how much I drive.

very understandable, I’ve always had premium (GS was my first car, my Acura also takes premium) so it’s not as painful to me

The bubbly styling with the totally flat rear window and stubby blocky trunk bugs the shit out of me.

Dark burgundy luxury cars are a new weakness of mine, after seeming a e92 in this color.

Lol I didn’t bother clicking the link and just hopped straight on CL myself and found that exact one. Whereabouts are you located? Haven’t made it to any chicago OPPO meetups yet as I’ve only been back for 6 months or so and couldn’t make the last one due to work.

Also I have an irrational hatred of Kankakee since a high school robotics tournament where their families (the only ones really being loud and cheering) just chanted “who can we can Kankakee can” for like 9 hours straight (and probably kicked our asses but I don’t really remember I know my team wasn’t great though).

If you just want some more power just get a 430, weighs like 200lbs less too. I have one of each and love them both. Suspension geometry is better lowered a bit too, these wobble a little in the rear when at stock height, goes away with a little lowering, like 2"
