1 st Wipe : California still fighting the Feds over loosening emissions regulations. If all else fails, the state can stack up National Guardsmen at the border to prevent interstate air movement.
2 nd Wipe : Smaller subprime lenders beginning to fail under the weight of higher losses. Somehow Jalopnik still thinks charging high interest rates to risky borrowers is unfair. QED or something.
3 rd Wipe : Federal crash investigators having trouble deciphering proprietary Tesla car data without company’s cooperation; also extremely upset over Snape killing Dumbledore.
4 th Wipe : Trump expected to nominate new head of NHTSA, according to people who overheard him in the NHTSA offices asking aloud “What do I need to do to get some head around here?”
5 th Wipe : GM’s embattled South Korean workers, apparently ungrateful to still have jobs, literally trashed the CEO’s office when bonuses weren’t paid. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.
Splashback : Today in 1925 The Lost World was shown as the first in-flight movie. They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.

subprime loans are very weird. I think many have a missunderstanding of it due to predatory lending.
I think Jalopnik refers to predatory lenders; but if it was up to me these people wouldn’t be allowed to have such generous credits in the first place.
