I gave my soldering kit away years ago. Now I wish I had it.
Rebuilding the DJI Spark is easy until you get to the motors, because you need to solder those connectors. Thankfully the OEM chassis replacement is a pre-wired subassembly.
Hope it all works when I’m done putting it back together.

Damn. I wish I was near I’d love to help that build. Looks pretty neat. Each dji product has it’s hurdles but once you’ve figured them out it an easy side gig. Post an add to Craigslist and start making a few bucks here and there these fools are crashing phantoms constantly (myself included) and I get a call every couple months to fix one up. Even bought mine crashed repaired it and have been flying it for over a year and only have just shy of 300 into it. Good luck!

Nice! I don’t want to turn this into a side gig, I just want to get this little camera flying again. Just using my years of experience designing stuff like this to get it apart and reassembled and going again. It’s pretty amazing how much smarts they’re able to pack into such a small package.
