If I had enough money and skill to bring her back to mint, I would say Matra.

I know she will sit in my driveway till my wife gives me the ultimate ultimatum.

A Renault Fuego was the last car my grandfather owned before he passed. My father actually inherited it when he passed. It was pretty cool to ~8 year old me but we didn’t have it for long as it wouldn’t pass MA emissions and my dad didn’t want to put the time or money into it. It was red and I believe it was an 86.

In February my brother spotted a near mint Fuego in Portugal. It was in nice light greenish blue metallic color and naturally with European spec lights so I think that it was better than that silver one.

Barnfinds must be following my eBay search history. I would take the Matra if I could.

Fun fact:

The Renault Fuego was the first car in the US Market to have remote locks.
