I mentioned that the Albuquerque area is devouring the Kia Stinger. With the $50k-plus GT2 level somehow being a wide majority of sales out here, Fiesta Kia has decided to offer this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Have mercy! That price stings more than the bees Macaulay Culkin dealt with in My Girl...
This Stinger is running Eibach springs, 20 inch TSW wheels, StingerHaus Aero Kit, K&N Cold-Air Intake, Borla Exhaust, and the LAP3 Performance Tune. Most of the chips with bolt ons that Ive seen dynoed have been consistently getting the 3.3t Lambda to around 450 hp (400 whp) and 500 lb-ft of torque.
I’m hopeful that this hometown halo will one day bring heaven to a house and hell to many highways. That crazy owner will need a solid Grover in disposable monthly income and be a silent shouter when it comes to badges but not bodies. Good luck finding a nut like that!

I saw this Stinger GT in Albuquerque the other day. (OK actually it was in Jacona north of Santa Fe, but I basically consider the entire northern half of NM the “Albuquerque area.”)

plus, when you compare it to similar cars with similar power (BMW M3 comes to mind) it’s not a bad deal either

Yet they couldn’t do something about that weird tail light winglet. Even a dark tint on it would look better. “I blacked out my reflector so it works less” yeah yeah we’ve all see the RCR video.
Those mods are pretty much the route I would go with myself but I’d much rather the diy price tag and a few hours instead.

Is the intake actually cold air? Does it still have a warranty? What are the dimensions on the wheels? And I mean not just width and diameter, I want offset too. And are they hubcentric? Are they forged? Do they weigh less than the factory wheels? What kind of tires? Do the springs lower it or just change the rate? What about shocks? If it’s lowered was the alignment corrected afterwards? Is there aero functional?
