One thing I don’t miss about living in PA is all the turkeys. There are a couple streets around my parents’ house where I regularly had to stop and get out of the car and shoo them away before I could get through.

Yup, nearly had to do that Tuesday evening. Just past the PennAm Water building on Horning Road a flock of maybe 16-18 turkeys was meandering across the road. It was like waiting for a train.
Honey badger may not give a fuck, but turkeys are a close second.

That’s looks like a wonderful driving road, nice and smooth.

Oh man it is curvy. It’s a river road. This is the better portion.

Dang you really are right in my neck of the woods. I grew up in Mt. Lebanon (and I’m actually in town for a few days right now) and the two main turkey hot spots are behind the McDonald’s on Mt. Lebanon Blvd. and south of 88 behind Kenny Ross Ford.

I once watched a flock bring 88 almost to a dead stop for 5-10 minutes while waiting for a T at Washington Junction.
