People who would care more about the other cars he listed than a Previa are weirdos in my mind.

I love it.

Unlike those cars, the Previa is interesting

If BMW or McLaren wish to up their game by offering a mid-engined minivan, I wouldn’t object.

Interesting cars > cool cars.

I love the Previa, and I love Doug, but I actually couldn’t finish watching that video. It felt like he was reaching so much to find quirks and features for it. The lug nut covers that pretty much all cars had in the 90s? The cup holders? The gas cap? Come on, Doug.

I found the Z8 interesting. I legit did not know about the window switches.

He does it on purpose I swear.

“you people are weirdos”
Is he trying to say that we have quirks?

Pathetic mid-engine 200 mph peasants < Glorious FWD automatic previa master race

That’s because the Previa was a great freakin minivan.

Probably because videos of high dollar exotics are a dime a dozen, but very few people are bothering to make detailed videos of ‘90s minivans.
Its also why I usually ignore Jay Leno’s videos where a manufacturer drops off their latest production model for him to try out, and just rewatch one of his older ones involving one of his prewar classics.

FWD
I had to remove my recommendation of this post for this lie.

Previa vans came in manual. Quite a few of the others didn’t. Weird > Exotic

I have no doubt.

A mid engine, FWD layout would certainly be unique.

Weird / normal cars are more interesting to me than super cars.

It is front supercharged...

Here’s your mid-engine, FWD, supercharged vehicle:
There were a fair amount of mid-engine FWD French cars - the Citroën Traction Avant, DS, SM, Renault 5, and 16 come to mind.
And, if you want transverse mid-engine FWD, well, the Toyota/Scion iQ.
