These still exist?
Printed ads on newspapers.... For cars... Never thought this was still a think

I saw two armored cars last time I was in Colombia.
My uncle’s diesel Fortuner and an E46 330i ZHP.

Pontiac Cameros are super super rare. Almost non-existent.

Here they’re sold on the newspaper...

It says it has a 455 stroker... Isn’t that an olds engine?
This isna wierd car.

It’s like the old Firefox phone but in car; great idea, badly executed.
![]() 03/29/2018 at 14:55 |

Buick, Olds, and Pontiac all had 455s and they were all unique.

It’s stroked and it has Edelbrock heads and Holly carbs; it seems like a Friburger dream... But very expensive.

Because muchísimo más.

I’m thinking it might have started as a 350 or 400ci Pontiac engine, but it’s very expensive. The last time I noticed ‘69 Firebirds were actually cheaper than the same year Camaros. Here’s one that seems closer to reality but still priced at full retail.

I wouldn’t know... I think the price is based entirely on “unico en México”

Ah, I remember when I went from “Man, Firefox is the shit!” to “Man, Firefox is shit!”

It works better than chrome for me on my laptop.

I remember when Firefox took over the landscape after Netscape/Mozilla became bloated pigs. I then remember when Firefox became a bloated pig just like the browser it supplanted.
Chrome has been doing pretty well staying relevant.

That looks both terrible and hilariously expensive, fuck no.
and I drive a Pontiac.

I don’t know if the person submitting the ad or the person setting the ad for the paper is at fault, but both “Edelbrock” and “Holley” are misspelled as well as the “Pontiac Camaro” thing. I would have thought a $60,000 car would merit a correctly spelled ad, but maybe not.

AAnd esteoqueado is an anglicism for stroker kit.

I’ve been eyeing that black 335i for months. I think the guy wanted 350K for it and well reality hit him.
![]() 03/29/2018 at 16:19 |

Never buy a Mexico City car; our streets are worse than yours and that 335i was probably a mirreymobil that was hooned beyond repair and has every suspension component ready to crap out... Limit yourself to Puebla, Cancun, and maybe Guadalajara together with all of the border region( we need to keep appearances, don’t we)

‘Edelbrook” lol
Sorry

I fell for it; I read straight from the ad.

Buying somebody elses drag car is never worth it.
![]() 03/29/2018 at 19:49 |

You think this was used for drag racing?
Fascinating, but a good reason to stay well away from it.

I can see a ginormous hood scoop and and shitty wheels. I can’t speak spanish but I can gather it’s one of those money pit projects. Somebody threw a built 455 in to that thing.

It says 70,000 invested, so yeah
![]() 03/29/2018 at 20:43 |

Yeah if you want to spend 70 grand on a 69 firebird I would recommend instead buying a dynacorn body and building a brand-spanking new convertible instead of that garbage.

If I wanted to spend so much money on an old car I’d get a swapped E30
