Found this while browsing the local auto listings on Kijiji tonight....somebody must’ve imported to Canada here in Nova Scotia and then the engine blew (speaks to the maintenance that was being done to the poor thing...)

It makes me very sad. :(

Looks in solid shape and $2000 CAD is a hell of a price for one in decent shape with no rust and a good interior, but something tells me a new engine and swap would NOT be for the faint of heart....or very economical...

That would be pretty awesome...could put one of those in it as they, of course, came in that guise! Didn’t the I5 Turbos have a reputation for being a bit unreliable though?

Well, this coupe needs a new one so there’s a hint. I honestly have no idea but a DOHC straight 5 can’t be all bad.

Not all bad at all! They are supposed to be amazing engines, and, if kept up properly, I imagine they are OK! I seem to recall they had a lot off maintenance requirements though!

If I had the tools and knowhow....and money, I would even consider it. ALWAYS loved the Coupe, and I even still have my Majorette dinky car of a bright yellow one exactly like this from when I was a kid! :)
