Buddy of mine had a blaze orange Chevy truck. He got rear ended by a woman while waiting to pull into a driveway.

As I recall, the bedside door opens into a locker rather than access into the bed itself. It was a RAM Box before its time.

That is correct. There’s a dude in my area who has one, with no bed cover. It has an open top, but there is a wall between that “locker” and the rest of the bed.

Unless in dire emergency, I tend to just order from McMaster-Carr (hence, Home Despot). They have a distribution center in-state so the majority of orders arrive within 24 hours.
