It does have a 1/4hp electric motor if using the pedal is too difficult.

Me too. Or at least my wife too. She has hopes that I’ll be able to get it to the state that clothes can again be made on it.

‘All women wish to be, “well dressed” - which means the attire most becoming to their personality.’

Dress how you want. Dress for yourself. Be yourself. This part is still good. The later part telling women what to think is not good. That is a nice machine. I like to sew, but don’t know how to thread a machine.

Little known Ramblinrover facts: Ramblinrover is a giant sucker for antique sewing machines and typewriters. No collection of either yet, buuuuuttt...

I think my great grandma had one of these almost exactly.

It’s not even the machine that makes this so special. Those tables were designed sew well for their purpose. But they used some heavy duty metal to make the whole thing (machine & table). The weight is crazy!

I have a 50s model but I don’t recall which. I do remember it is in Cabinet 42, which I am quite happy about. Haven’t used it in too long...

Singer castle in the thousand islands is a very cool place to visit. That machine made them a very powerful family.

I found a Domestic in my mom’s place when we cleaned it out . I’m not sure what happened to her more modern Singer. Maybe she just decided to go old school.
