True, but how much is it going to increase? It’s in BC, so transportation costs/travel costs have to factor in for most people. I don’t know the market for these things though.

Partially. But if you look at pretty much any online auction that’s the least bit competitive, most of the bids and a large price increase always happens within the last 24 hours.

There is a faculty member on campus that daily drives a Civic just like this. It isn’t as clean (the New Mexico sun hasn’t been kind to the now pink paint), but it is still get a kick out of seeing it on a regular basis.

These little guys were never worth that much to begin with. They were great little cars no doubt about it (I’ve had three in my life to date). But they really aren’t worth this sort of coin.

We currently have a SF Forester that dates from the turn of the century. It’s clean and tidy, has 250,000 km on the clock and would be lucky to be worth two grand. Whilst it is something of a modern classic, the idea that it’ll one day be worth five or even 10 times more if it stays clean and tidy is just a bit laughable.

My Dad had one (back in the day). It would beat a Mercedes-Benz diesel off the line, and that’s about it.

These are not fast and don’t handle all that great.

I’d rather save up for an 80’s si or crx.
