...stop making your sedans LOOK like liftbacks to get my hopes up, but end up having a trunk.
You used to have nice looking liftbacks. This could’ve been it if you just made the glass and trunk one piece.
(If anyone posts a Crosstour in the comments they will get kicked in the groin really hard.)

ha, Honda calls liftbacks Hatchbacks now anyways.
Looking and Laughing at you 2016&+ Civic!
Bring real hatchbacks back!

The Civic suffers from the same problem. Sedan looks nice if it was a liftback, but the hatchback is bloated.

I’ll allow it.

Mmmmm. Beautiful, lovely, curves
Also I’m ready for that kick

Mustang is the same, the glass should definitely come up.

Also to shield anyone’s eyes without a warning, here is a link to the time I photoshopped all the chrome off the pre-facelift Crosstour.

Just to clarify I’m pretty sure the Insight is a Civic.
Surprisingly it looks like it has different door sheetmetal.
I’d like to see a Type R with an Insight front swapped on.

We had one of these when I was in high school. If ever a car needed to be a liftback, it was this:

As an added bonus, the rear windows didn’t roll down. They claimed 0-60 in 13.6, but I don’t think it was anywhere near that fast. I couldn’t outrun a city bus from a standing stop.

Yeah it is the same platform. At least they fixed the taillights going from Civic to Insight.

That looks rather goofy. The 2 piece rear window and all the space in front of the rear wheels are throwing me for a loop.

You better watch out for the next C+C, lol.

The top of the hatch is the back section of the roof and also a window.

They fixed the front too imo.

That’s actually really cool and explains why the side windows are 2 parts instead of one.

Or let’s agree they should just make this the next Civic refresh.

The side windows pop out like the back windows of a minivan or older BMW coupes. They’re power on this E46 M3 but you get the idea.
I’m just guessing here, but if the whole window popped out on the Accord Aerodeck, with a manual pop-out mechanism, you couldn’t reach the pop-out mechanism from the back seat.

I just remember the 1990? Civic hatch my dad had for rallycross which had the big pop out windows in the back. Here it looks more like they split the window so that they could have a pillar under the hatch hinge.

Strange times we live in.
The Insight now looks better than the Accord or Civic.
This could put a huge dent in Prius sales.

I don’t knowif it’ll dent Prius sales. Prius drivers are, well, special.
This is really just the Civic Hybrid. Aside from city-owned ones I don’t think I’ve seen any.
