Ok, I know I just posted a few days ago about how I wanted a first gen 3....
But yesterday, I decided to stop by the Mazda dealer just to have a little look around.
I walk around to the rear only to find the EXACT spec Mazda 3 I’ve always wanted. An Aurora Blue Mazda 3 Hatch S Grand Touring.
Interior was immaculate, and the exterior was in very good shape... except for the fact that it had rust in every one of the known spots...
Want to test drive but highly doubt a dealership would allow a 19 year old to take it out for a spin, without a parent/older adult.
dtg11 - is probably on an adventure with Clifford

even if it means higher miles, less equipment, and more expensive, get one that’s 06-on. The 03,04,05 all have awful rust issues and will probably end up costing you lots of money or killing the car.

Honestly, ask for the test drive. It’s a super old (in dealer terms) rusty car, I bet if anything happened to it they could insurance write it off for more profit than they would make selling it.

My 06 started to rust when it was less than 5 years old.
But it was a very nice car.
