both a strong CP
03 has 328k miles and isn’t in particularly great shape
06 is clean, but would have to have well under 100k miles to justify that price

The transmission on that ‘03 is probably on its way out. Even my ‘03 with stupid low miles had the 3rd gear pop out every so often.

Hard “no” on the 03, but the ‘06 isn’t far off the mark. I’d try talking him down to high-7s and see if he stops at 8.
As an aside, have you thought about the FA5/FG2-gen Civic Si? It offers the same powertrain combo but with LSD and is available in sedan & coupe body shell, plus there’s a healthy supply.

RSX’s are all CP

I feel like you could talk the ‘06 guy down, though

All the ones around me have been in an accident and/or have been “tastefully modded”. But I think it’s worth a deeper search. For that gen Civic Si I personally think the sedan looks a lot better than the coupe.

possibly, but I don’t see the appeal of getting the RSX when you could get this more practical, newer, and more equipped manual TSX for $1500 less:
2 owners, full service history, and no accidents

Another thing about the ‘03 is to check if the steering wanders and is hard to keep centered. I believe they have the same electric steering rack as the ‘02 Si. My wifes Si I am told by the subsequent buyer had this issue and it turns out there is a plastic bushing in the rack that wears out and causes this. Her car had 200,000 miles and had that problem.
Anyway the fix of the rack would not be that difficult except that the rack is buried against the firewall with the exhaust and axles in front of it. You probably have to pull the engine to get to it so it’s something to look out for.....

are you looking for a first car?
[edit] I’m assuming you car, so I just did a quick search of the Orlando CL since you’re near there (I think). Manual, reliable, fuel effiecient, safe, and under 150k miles. Also most are fairly practical and not super expensive on insurance. Here’s what I found in just a couple minutes:
