Well, yes its exaggerated, but we’re not exactly safe either. The US might be very dangerous but it’s significantly safer than Mexico except for some bubbles of safety like the nice neighborhoods and suburbs of the larger cities (Angeopolis, Pedregal, San Pedro, Puerta de Hierro, etc) and the touristic destinations.

Glad you all made it safely now go shower, shit and shave then get out there and eat, drink and be merry, as the old saying goes, ‘when in Rome, do as the Romans do’.
Check out the restaurant prices in the more central and touristy areas before you decide whether to stay, some charge a tourist tax. So ask the hotel concierge for recommendations.
