You break out into group, go to events, and then come back for a large happy hour when its all done. I am going to a brewery at 1:00, and then coming back to the happy hour at 3:30.

I often am confused how frequently this is a thing, but if I’m getting paid to participate in office sanctioned drinking at 1:00pm on a work day I’ll take it.

I’m an extroverted introvert i.e. I’m extroverted when I turn on my communicate-with-humans switch but need time to recharge away from other people. I’m also a gym addict.

I hate shit like this.

I don’t want to be forced to socialize with a bunch of work people, and I don’t want to drink a bunch of beer when I’m planning to hit the gym later, but I also don’t want to have a bunch of work people ask me why I’m not drinking a bunch of beer.
