Hi Oppo,

I actually have a car related question and post for once. I’m looking to get a little more of a flush look for my spring/summer wheels and plan to run 5mm spacers all around. The RPF1's I have for the spring/summer though already need hub rings as the bore is larger. Having never had wheel spacers before, do I just put the spacers on and then hub rings?

The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in question and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Love you all, here’s a Ferrari for your time.

It depends on how the spacer/ring combination is. There will likely be one obviously correct way and one obviously wrong way. Given that combo posted, I believe the spacer first, then the ring. If you do it the wrong way, the ring will space the spacer.

It doesn’t matter. The hub centering rings go in the wheel and they are just to help align the studs, which actually support the weight of the wheel. The spacer typically is also supported by the studs.

Centering rings are not necessary unless you have lug bolts instead of lug nuts.

If you can get the spacer made that takes your current centerbore and then you needed centerbore, you’d be all set. But the other way is to get the spacers the same as your current centerbore and then put the hub rings on the wheels. I ran mine that way last winter with no issues. As long as your spacers are hubcenteric as well. Not the best solution, but it works. Not sure if your hub rings are metal, but might want to do that too, if available. But use a bit of anti seize at all mating surfaces, very sparingly.

I’ve been looking for that, but only found spacers that fit the cars centerbore, not the wheels.

I ran plastic hub rings once and was worried shitless so ive gone metal only since then
