Miatas are great in snow until they run out of ground clearance. This would be awesome to try out some time.

Miata with reduced ride height due to coilovers and big winter tires that bring the ride height back to stock can handle about half that! God I cannot wait to put that 3" lift on next winter

It is apparently designed to work with coilovers so this should be an easy day of work for you.
