Spending day.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I support term limits, but hope this guy is elected in perpetuity:
“No chance. I don’t even know if we’ll have time to read it,” Sen. John Kennedy said, predicting he wouldn’t but saying he’d try his best.
The Louisiana Republican criticized leadership for what he called “mushroom management of keeping you in the dark and feeding you manure,” saying it’s an embarrassment to the people who elected them.
“This is a Great Dane-sized whiz down the leg of every taxpayer in America,” Kennedy said.”
After all, what’s another $1,300,000,000,000.00

It’s not exactly like ignoring the EULA when you buy a new video game. But seriously, when was the last time any of these people in Congress actually read what they vote for? Or against? It’s appalling.

So... There’s finally a bipartisan bill and some people want to shit in it?
I agree that they should’ve given the bill way more time so that everyone can read it, when some conspiracy theorist say there’s a shadow government, the needeth look much further than the congressional leaders.

There is a problem with the Republic. They should all vote no since they do not get a chance to read it.

It’s funny how these guys freak out any time that have to actually do something resembling work. The reporters don’t seem to have an issue figuring out what’s in the bill.

You don’t need a thousand pages to prove that.

This all fits in PERFECTLY with the goals of both parties. Neither really gives a shit about spending or you and me.
They just want to slip in their pet projects that will help them get re-elected in perpetuity. What better way than a giant omnibus bill that appears and gets voted on instantly???

Seriously. I bet they take one look at the first page, hand it to some overworked staffer, then tell them to read it. If they even do that.

If pro is the opposite of con, what is the opposite of progress?

House Freedom Caucus is here with amendments that inject some fiscal responsibility! Oh wait, no, they only want to defund Planned Parenthood and crack down on sanctuary cities .
