That awful touchpad that Cadillac has used to navigate their CUE infotainment system appears dead. Here’s the interior shot of the 2019 CT6 V-Sport they released today:
See, that’s a knob! A real life knob!! No touchpad in sight!
As for the rest of the car, I think it looks great. Definitely see the Escala in the design. If every Caddy will look like this, then they might be on to something.

Looks like a stupid not-a-shifter shifter and capacitive HVAC buttons are still part of the deal though.

They’re actually buttons with a clear and even face. The shifter may have changed in its operation.

Yeah you’re right about the HVAC buttons.
The new shifter looks like a copy of BMW’s, which, speaking from experience, is pretty annoying.
