I love virtualization software. Running Windows 10 and OS X at the same time.

One of the things I love about virtualization is that I can basically prepare an entire Linux system ahead of time, then package it up and deploy it to a computer without spending time waiting on it to download software packages on a hilariously bad network.

We use Virtual PC to run Windows and OSX for business reasons. Early virtualization was pretty sketchy, but the hardware finally caught up to where it became feasible for more than just occasional specific tasks.

One time I tried running Windows, Fedora, Ubuntu and of course the native OS system, all at the same time. I quickly shut them down after they locked up and my computer suddenly began heating up far beyond normal. The stress test didn’t go well so now I just run one virtual machine at a time. Guess 16GB of RAM and an 2ghz intel i5 weren’t up to the task, (kinda obvious but hey) XD
