I know we’ve got a couple of Oppos out on the West Coast.

I’m taking a 10 day trip this summer and was wondering if there are any cool car related events going on around the last week of June. If you have any other ideas I’d greatly appreciate that too (outdoors stuff is a huge plus).

I’ll be staying in Stockton so it’s relatively close to San Jose, San Francisco, and Sacramento.

Four years ago I’d have met you for lunch. I lived in Rancho Cordova. If it was the end of July I’d say hit the Amador county fair for the engine exhibit. Also, get some fresh baked sour dough bread. It’s so much better than what you can get on the east coast. Sacramento Raceway has a good test and tune night that’s worth going to, even as a spectator. Pretty easy to get to and cheap.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll look into it.

And about the bread, sooo right. I last visited over 8 years ago and if there’s one thing I remember was this sourdough bread my uncle brought back for lunch. I’ve yet to have anything as good.

There’s a mailing newsletter where they send you everything that’s going on in the Bay area, maybe they have just a list online, check out this. Or you can also join the facebook group where they compile all the stuff, too.
