Since that gen of Ram seems to be my thing, I agree. NP and surprisingly low rust other than the obvious surface rust.

Yeah those rockers are pristine for a truck of this age in this salty hellscape. The surface rust on the body is weird.

The whole undercarriage is pretty clean, cleaner than mine. Perhaps the surface rust is from some damage that breached the paint?

Given that it’s in Bath, I worry how bad the rust might be with sea salt playing into it. The rust itself looks fixable, but I don’t entirely trust it to hold up even with sanding down + bondo fill-in + proper sealing with paint.

$900 would be attractive if it wasn’t for the fact that (for me) it’s a three hour drive, I don’t have any car haulers/services to tow it with, and the fact that my Subaru is making my wallet hemorrhage money in gas costs.

What for an engine? I’d buy it just for what a great CL post it is. There’s something compelling about ugly-as-sin malaise-era boxy pickups. And if this one’s a slant-six, all the better.
