HS250h and CT200h together.

The CT200h is on my list of cars that I want as a DD but will, in all probability, never buy.

Which one is the hatchback, the CT? Well whatever their nonsensical names are, I see more of the hatchbacks than the sedan, which makes no sense.
And because I’m in southern California this is an appropriate metric for the whole country.

The CT is the hatch, and the successor to the HS. The HS was a barely disguised Prius and didn’t sell very well, it’s pretty rare to see one.

I still want one over the CT200h

I still think the CT200h is basically the perfect commuter car for this area that isn’t pure electric. Comfortable, hatch back, fuel sipper, small enough to park almost anywhere, etc.

I’m totally with you here. The chance of my buying one is basically zero, yet it ticks all the boxes for a good commuter.

If you replaced the pine trees with palm trees, it could be any major metro area in California, too, especially around Los Angeles, San Diego, or the Bay Area.

Yeah, but in SF with all the construction and so many SUVs I have to have an SUV or I’ll never see wtf is happening with the lights or intersections when I get there in traffic. I have a CRV but maybe an RX someday, or just go highlander.

Totally normal for SF, throw a million Teslas in there now.

My friend’s fiancee has one. She has a long commute and really likes it. The interior is comfy but the transmission sucks and the infotainment cursor trackball thing is annoying. That said, it does exactly what you’d think it does (LUXURY PRIUS WITH A HATCH) and makes a nice, practical commuter.

we never got the HS250h
