I don’t know why I found this so hilarious. It just caught me so off guard.
I used to take my old Scirocco to a guy I really got along with and who bought his daughter a VW Rabbit. One time he checked her oil and found it was overfilled which made no sense as he did all the maintenance. She wouldn’t even know how to add oil if she had to.
He discovered that the oil pan was bashed flat against the bottom of the engine from her running shit over. The engine had punched a couple dents back the other way from ramming moving parts of the engine back against the pan. He was impressed with how well the car ran despite his daughter’s best efforts.
