Spent most of the day on the road, went to 2 other cities. Did about 300kms today. But didn’t get my ticket on this run. Then got back in town, got the kids from daycare and started going home. While exiting the city I got caught at 91 km/h in a 70.
Lost 2 points and 122$ cnd.
My last ticket was over 10 years ago.

Do you guys have the option to take a driver safety course and get rid of the points? We do here.

Man, that’s tough. Knowing Quebec drivers and their (our) low regard for speed limits, you could probably do 100 billion km/h on that stretch of road most days with no consequences. But today was not your day...
I got pulled over 2 weeks ago, I had no idea why. I apparently turned left out of a parking lot onto a side street where it was not allowed. Lame. And I although I had valid insurance, I didn’t have the “pink card” with me to prove it. Oops.
I got off with a warning.

Loosing 2 points on a 15 point system doesn’t change much except for that fine.
But if I remember correctly I still pay the same annual fee. But if I loose more points I have to pay more annually. So that means I slow down for 2 years

On the road I keep my cruise control at 110 In a 90 zone.
I go ten over for 50 and 70 zones.
These are the real world speed limits. If you get caught faster than that, chances are you see blue and red lights.
