I’m going 40 MPH MPH with cruise set to 40MPH with the gauge showing 40 MPH

My jeep doesn’t show the speed you put cruise on... Which is an issue for me.
But if you want redundance, I once caught myself having the cruise set to 100, with the HUD displaying 100, the gauges showing 100, the digital readout showing 100 together with the cruise confirmation at 100 and the GPS speed with waze at 97 on the Kia

So you’re saying you keep it 100?

That’s 40 MPH per hour, right? I didn’t know RAM stood for Redundant Acronym Machine .

Does the speedo stop working when you set the cruise?

Not that
Lets say I’m doing 80 and I set cruise it doesn’t let me know if I put it on 79 or 81...etc...it only puts on the image that the cruise has been set. But I can see my speed. also, it doesn’t brake or engine brake if it’s over the cruise speed, so you cannot put your eyes off the speedo! then the increments aren’t linear, so lets say I enter a 120 zone, I push the + button and nothing happens then the car sorta wakes up and like “HOLY SHIT LETS GO” and it sprints way higher than 120, so I have to manually set cruise all the time.

I mean, normally, Fam.

I guess I just always reset my cruise to the speed I want to be going so it’s never been an issue.
Carry on sir.

And yet when the cop asks, I still have no idea how fast I was going...

I mean, it’s not an issue for me either I do exactly the same. But the Kia’s system is way better.
It’s just not very user friendly, which might be the motto of FCA these days anyway.

My Subaru will not let you set the cruise above 100 mph, but 99 mph is okay.

I’m talking logical units, not freedom units
