You’re getting an F80?

The plan is this summer, yes. It’ll have to be used but I’m okay with that as long as it’s an LCI f80.

I drove a 2016 6MT M3 and it was lightening quick, it was noticeably quicker than mine. I thought it lacked some of the tactical feel of the E90, but I didn’t find it to be numb. I prefer mine, but if I could own both I would.

I did some thinking and realized the f80 would be a nice inbetween for the e46 and e90. It’s practical yet has a lot of quickness and can be had in a manual. That and the styling has grown on me tremendously. Combined with the easy to find white sedan with red interior I’m sold.

It’s not a bad choice at all, if I didn’t find my E90 when I did I was going to save up and pay cash for a new F80.

Oh it’s so hard to not just walk into a dealership and order a brand new alpine white on Sakhir orange with executive package. Based on the forums, a lot of people are getting 1-3k above invoice so that comes out to about 75k out the door. So difficult to resist.
