Had some moles taken off my back, I’ve had a lot of moles in my life but a few weird ones made me go in. Additionally, I thought I had a deep zit in my chest which turned out to be a painful cyst, so I got that taken out Too. I guess I’d rather have some slightly painful craters in my skin than cancer, eh? The doctor was concerned enough to offer me to just get em off today if I was Okay with it. Which I was.

Just a reminder to always take care of things when they’re small before they become a big issue.

My dad waited to get a cyst taken care of. Big strong guy, perfect health. He ended up spending a month in the hospital and I was told he probably wouldn’t make it before he eventually pulled through.

THe moles were something I admit to ignoring, the cyst was the final straw. I’m glad I did

I never did figure out the details. I know it got infected at some point, and however big it was prior, the scar was a beastly 5 inches long

Jeebuz, that stinks. Both me and my dad have sub cutaneous cists around the size of an almond. My doc said don’t worry but if they were bothering me he would cut them out.

Yeah, no fun. He sure is a stubborn SOB when it comes to seeing doctors.

though I guess the stock wheels aren’t toooo bad :P They are absurdly heavy though, 33 pounds each.

My grandmother had skin cancer. It wasn’t the aggressive melanoma, but watching her go in every few months to have new growths removed made me sad. It’s one of the reasons I cover up when I’m outside whether it’s hot or cold. I figure after years of life guarding, I’ve had enough sun for a lifetime.
