I hate roof racks so much.

Some people say, “oh look at this sports car with ____ roof-mounted accessory, cool!”

I say, “if you can afford that car you can afford another utility vehicle to mount that ugly shit on.”

Fancy skinny wood boat mounted on the ugly ass roof rack doesn’t get it back any points.

I see we also share this strange love of doing practical things in impractical cars.

One of my all time dreams is to stuff a Christmas tree on top of a super car and drive it home from Costco with the tree tied to the roof. Preferably a Ferrari or McLaren. Although I’d be okay with a GT3RS so I can tie the tree to the roof and the rear wing.

I’ve tried explaining how funny that would be to my girlfriend but she just thinks I’m being a weirdo.
