yep... im only getting some notifications and telling kinja to show pending hides half the comments by dissapearing the show more comments buttons

Yeah I almost missed a reply already because of this. I received one reply notification on a recent post, and when I went to read it, I found another reply to me that never triggered a notification at all. I almost missed it completely.

I wonder if the notification will show up later, or if I’m missing out on any other replies elsewhere. Sorry if anybody thinks I’m ignoring them.

I came back here to tell you that I just clicked on a recommendation notification (since the address no longer tells us what comment was starred), and found that the same person who recommended the comment also replied to it. But I never received a notification for that reply.

I came all the way back here to say that, and found your reply which (as you might have guessed by now) Kinja never notified me about.
