See, I want to set up a GoPro on my dash, and use it for my trip out to the Columbia River Gorge that I’m planning this summer.

Difficulty: I need to find a good GoPro mount that is vertically stabilized so it doesn’t shake when the car hits rough pavement.

Here’s an example of the visual performance I want:

Help is much appreciated, the Queen awaits the day she can hit the great plains of Eastern Washington.

425 motorsports in Bellevue has a ton of Gopro mounts, I’d recommend checking them out in person so you can be sure whatever you pick will work for you. Some of the pricier mounts have built in stabilizion. Also, depending on which model you’re using the onboard stabilization is pretty good, as is the Gopro studio stabilizion that crops your video slightly to reduce Shake.

(edit) I’d also avoid the $5, $10, $20 dollar Gopro accessory kits on Amazon. Yeah, they come with a ton of accessories... But the majority of them are junk and will break at the most inopportune moment

425 Motorsports is in Bellevue? I gotta check them out next weekend.

Update: Their website doesn’t show any camera products.

Yep. They’re great guys, and the owner Dan is more than willing to spend an hour chatting with you about your ride, and potential projects. They’ve got a full fabrication shop too if you ever need anything built
