Awesome!!! He hadn’t updated his Google website for awhile and the JNC forums (which I, admittedly, don’t frequent very often) were updated awhile ago and it seems all his posts were removed on all his cars. He also doesn’t seem to post on JNC very often, so I often wondered if he sold his cars and life got in the way....that sort of thing...

Does he still have the 117, the Bellett and the Minica? Did he ever finish the Cosmo? :O

I LOVE his Bellett - just the right vibe for me! :D

And of course the Minica, because comically small, underpowered quirky classics are my jam :D

His Bellett is currently undergoing a full engine rebuild...

He is fast though, so it should be done quite soon... The 117 is getting a rebuild too. And he bought a Gemini Irmscher R from me... That’s just too many Isuzus haha.

He is just starting the Cosmo and yes, he still has everything... His Minica is the wagon version though, while this is the sedan. If I recall correctly, currently he has the 117, the Bellett, the Cosmo, the s30z, an SA22C, the Minica, the Beat.... The Gemini is soon to be on his way.... and I’m forgetting 2 cars... He recently sold an Isuzu Piazza and he is trying to sell the SA22C.

EDIT: the Z31 300zx... he still has this one. Still missing one.

Re-EDIT: no he still has the Piazza which is trying to sell. That’s it, got them all lol...

:D Glad to hear he is doing well and still loving his cars....I got a lot of enjoyment from his posts and threads a few years ago - his Minica build, especially. A wagon version is what I would’ve preferred as well! :)

Does he post about his cars anywhere online anymore? Tell him his previous fans still think about his rides, haha! The Bellett and Minica are amidst my wallpaper cycle! :D

Haha just add him on Facebook man, tell him you’re a friend of mine and used to follow his builds... I guess that’s the only place he posts about them... He’ll be back in Japan at the end of the month so I should see him early April. His full name is David Lovett. His profile pic is him welding or grinding shit lol.

I’ll sell the RX-7 once I move to my new place... so mid or late-April I’ll have the Delta... Then new tires, new pads, new timing belt, all fluids changed, plugs...etc etc, some minor rust repair around the rear window, then I’ll have to keep it slow with it for a little while. The car hasn’t been driven for about 9 years, so I can’t just push it around right away... Then when all that is done, I’ll probably do a little video on Mount Rokko or something :)
