Is it still ricer when it’s on a BMW. Yeah I’m pretty sure it is. I couldn’t pass these up tho.

Here’s the link for any one interested in this awesomeness. They really do just plug in. It took a minute to install each of them, and I can put the OEM incandescents back in just as quickly. Looks like these one fit just about any BMW made in the last 12-15 years. We’ll have to wait and see how long they last.

I would catch neverending shit from my wife and my dad if I put these in my car.

My wife hates if I ever speak the word “bimmer” even though I only use it as a way to refer to my car with fewer syllables than fully pronouncing BMW.

My dad is a multimillionaire with 2 houses who for some reason can’t bring himself to consider driving a BMW because he feels like they’re too snobby.

I get the same way when my 9 year old tells people I have a BMW. Like I know he’s not bragging, he’s just telling people about the car his dad drives, like all kids do, especially kids who know their Dad loves car. but I feel like he’s bragging.

Whoever these lights are dope. I feel like they Are silly cheap little things that make me happy. But I can totally see some one thinking I’m trying to “stunt on them” or “trying to hard”. Eh

It stared out as a derogatory term for Japanese cars in general, but evolved cars modified like those in Fast and Furious, especially those that didn’t have any performance mods to back up the flash. Then it eventually changed to any car with tasteless, or poorly executed mods.

So it used to be racist and know it means stupid no matter your(car’) race. I guess that’s progress. If we can’t agree that all races are equally good, at least we can agree they’re equally stupid.

It’s not the car that is a ricer, it’s the Driver of said car who is. Rice is sometimes an acronym meaning Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. The car can often be called a “rice rocket” or just shorthand called a “ricer” but really the most accurate way to describe the term is as an adjective

I really like that logo. So simple and to the point. I wish Mazda had kept using it. The 80s early 90s one was weird, and kind of ugly. The current one is modern and certainly fits their design language. But that old one is classic.
